Salary Scale: Grade 7 £33,199 to £40,792

This posts represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a team of staff in the expanding School of Life Sciences which has recently invested over £10 million in new teaching laboratories. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Biosciences. The person appointed would be expected to contribute to our undergraduate teaching provision in the Foundation Year as well as our undergraduate and MSc teaching in a range of areas within the biological discipline. In addition, the person appointed may participate in our undergraduate field courses in North Wales and Malaysia usually occurring in June/July.

You will have a degree in a biological discipline and experience of teaching in Higher Education across the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. The successful applicants will take responsibility for specific areas of the curricula, will play a part in development of educational initiatives and will pursue scholarly activities in line with the School’s educational focus.
