Grade 6b Starting salary £32,816 (pro rata)
Fixed term for 3 years

This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s School of Geography, Geology and the Environment. Keele University is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in Geography and the Environment, on a part-time 0.5 full-time equivalent basis and will be fixed term for a period of three years. Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic individuals committed to undertaking high quality teaching in the field of Geography and the Environment.

The successful candidate will deliver high quality teaching at undergraduate level in the Geography, Geology and Environmental sciences area, with a focus on geophysical and geospatial surveying. You will have a broad knowledge of scholarship in Geography/Environment related subjects and experience of demonstrating/teaching. The successful candidate will join the growing and highly successful School of Geography, Geology and the Environment, which has a strong commitment to, and nationally leading reputation in, delivering high quality research and educational programmes.
