20th Anniversary Conference
“Promoting and Celebrating School Success”
22nd September 2009


The Centre for Successful Schools (CfSS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year by holding a day conference, entitled “Promoting and Celebrating School Success”. The event will take place in the Chancellor’s Building at Keele University on Tuesday 22nd September 2009. Eminent educationalists (including former directors of the Centre: Sir Tim Brighouse, Sir Michael Barber, and Professor Kate Myers, and the former Chief Adjudicator for Schools, Sir Philip Hunter) will review educational change/improvement during the last 20 years at national, local authority and school level, and address current and future issues presenting challenges to effective teaching and learning.
