This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff within Keele University’s Research Institute for Science and Technology in Medicine (ISTM). The Research Institute sits with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) and was formed in 2006 and carries out research in laboratories and clinical research facilities at Keele University campus and three main NHS hospitals. The post will be based within the Guy Hilton Research Centre, which provides state of the art specialised equipment and facilities such as clean rooms close to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke on Trent.

As an Administrator you will maintain various research grants including European Union (EU) research projects and present standard reports to support the efficient and effective running of the accounts on behalf of the chief investigator/grant holder within FMHS.

You will also be expected to support other staff members within the ISTM team with effective administration including; reception cover, dealing with telephone, post or email enquiries. You will possess a minimum of 4 GCSE’s including English and Maths at grade C (or above) or equivalent qualifications and experience of working in an office environment providing an administrative service.
