This is an exciting opportunity for an applicant with experience in administration to join the Centre for Applied Entomology and Parasitology, at Keele University to support the Field Entomology Technical Coordinator of the Target Malaria Consortium, a non-profit organisation (led by Imperial College London) responsible for assisting the development and preparations for the potential deployment of novel vector control approaches based on male mosquito releases to help eliminate malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa. Potential applicants will have significant experience in an administration or personal assistant capacity, and familiarity with the terminology and research environment in the biosciences would be an advantage. The candidate will undertake a variety of tasks including travel planning and administration, the drafting and syntax checking of a variety of documents, and contribute to meeting organization. We are looking for an individual who can work effectively with a line manager, with high attention to detail and who can interact effectively within a larger administrative structure. The post is for a maximum of 36 months ending in April 2022 at the latest.
