Keele Physics Centre Public Lecture Series 2018-19

Good Morning All

This is just a gentle reminder that next Thursday (7th March 2019) sees the next (and final for the 2018-19 programme) Keele Physics Centre IoP lecture.

Title: Future Operations of the Energy Network

Abstract: Growth of low carbon and renewable generation, closures of conventional thermal power stations and changing interactions across the whole of the power system are changing our energy landscape and how we operate the electricity system. This talk will take you through the challenges the Electricity System Operator is facing in operating the network in the future, what's causing it and our next steps towards a low carbon future.
