Grade 4 Starting salary £19,730 per annum

Applications are invited for the post of Global Opportunities Assistant who will be responsible for a range of office work and provide administrative support to the Global Opportunities Officer, Short Programmes & Events Officer and the Head of Global Opportunities.

You will have the ability to organise, plan and support the Global Opportunities Officer, the Short Programmes and Events Officer and the Head of Global Opportunities with a range of activities which include: incoming and outgoing exchange- Single Semester and International Year; study abroad; short programmes; staff mobility; and miscellaneous incoming and outgoing mobility on a short and long term basis. This will also include liaison with appropriate departments at Keele, external stakeholders including partner universities, suppliers, marketing and others.

You will have the ability to communicate both face-to-face and through telephone and electronic communication with students, staff at all levels across the University and with external stakeholders. Time management and an ability to prioritize a diverse workload are important to accurately process multiple tasks on specified and immediate timescales. You will be comfortable working in a busy and fast paced environment and possess initiative, drive and commitment. The ability to work as a team member within the Global Opportunities Office is extremely important, whilst you should also be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
