Development Manager (Philanthropic Funding)

Grade 7 Starting salary £33,199

Keele University is renowned for its exciting approach to higher education, innovative research, beautiful campus, strong community spirit and excellent student experience. Further information can be found at http://www.keele.ac.uk.

This post provides an opportunity for a talented fundraising professional to help a forward-thinking UK university make a difference in the areas of environmental sustainability, global health, social inclusion and the local economy. Located as part of Keele University’s Directorate of Research, Innovation & Engagement the postholder will work as part of a team supporting senior University leaders in developing and realising major institutional projects. This includes developing a portfolio of potential trusts, foundations, corporate and individual donors, ensuring funding is successfully realised, funds are deployed appropriately and ongoing donor relationships are stewarded and developed effectively.

The role would suit an experienced fundraiser looking for a more strategic role. If you have experience of handling complex multi-funded projects and have strong interpersonal and financial management skills, we would love to hear from you. University experience is not essential.

Keele University values diversity, and is committed to ensuring equality of opportunity, and to proper and fair representation across its senior decision making groups. In support of these commitments, the University particularly welcomes expressions of interest and applications from women and from individuals of Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds, for this post.
